Light is determinant for Casaro’s artistic work – the limelight in the years for his movie- work, the Afrian Bush, the desert.
An educational trip took him to Andalucia for studies of the great moresque past. He found his place in the heat – the wide clear light of the South. He remained.
As result of his studies he creates paintings of Andalucian women in traditional attitudes against amazingly detailed backgrounds of historic moorish architecture.
Once again he proves the the impressing variety of his art and leaves the spectator wondering where he will go next?
